Truly, I cannot indeed get into discerning why the Pope Benedict XVI resigned from his blessed spot yesterday. Whether anything or health age problem, it could have been better to lead, inspire and rule us in his last journeys as in the case may be. This is first time in six centuries of papal ruling. And, created thinking of whys and buts of many people whether Christians and Non-Christians.

The Pope Benedict XVI
Being a Christian, I have to be very candid that I lack much gen on the concrete rules of the Roman Catholic. I was born catholic and I actually lived and living with beliefs, traditions and considerations of the Church. I grew up with sense of respect and conviction to the ruling. I have no regrets that I have grown in a community where novenas, church giving, donations and offers to the church as by believing and serving God through the church. Catholicism, being one of Philippines’s major churches is linked to history where it has to be the greatest influence of the Spaniards tracing back Spanish Colonization.

I believe entering into seminary and pursue theology is but a mixture of the five senses and the other non-seen senses. I respect that they are the ones who were hewed and molded to serve the Lord and convey into us the good news. They are the rare persons on earth chosen to lead us and motivate us into healthier and spirited individual. I am firmly convinced in my soul that they are our models into spiritual uplift and rearing. Being in this position, I recognize the passion to serve God by spreading His words. As a Pope, it is a responsibility of continuing the passion and spirit. It is a sacrifice choosing the service than journeying with much liberty. And for this, until the last breath, voyage of life should be extremely up serving God. It is a promise. It is a must. The pope should have not left the post. The pope should have continued until the last. Other than formal eviction, they must continue their promise. They must recognize that many people will appreciate a person who won battle until the last and by winning is respect and honor. And that by parting is another trial to us.

Much ado, the Pope Benedict is unquestionable into his ruling. I have to say that He had the best in his stay at Vatican serving and inspiring us. Praying for millions of us and therefore for this earth to be better. But what would have been more accepted is his endurance as the Pope. Finally, I have to truly say that there is a great responsibility for whoever will sit in the Papal position.
“I will continue to be close to you in prayer, especially in the next few days, so that you are fully accepting of the action of the Holy Spirit in the election of the new pope,”-Pope Benedict XVI
