Many years, it was like a hole in a needle to be acknowledged on a national scale and it took a lot of time when you wanted to show your instinctive talents and skills wide-reaching. Or if not, discoveries of new talents/great works whether in arts or in sciences took a lot of time. The 21st century is a blend of technology and innovation and has affected the way to prominence and appreciation.
Considering the show business, reasonably not all trending personalities are skilled. And when I say skilled, that would be in higher layman’s understanding. Many of them are just for amusement glory, inferior degree of entertainment. Nothing commendable, nothing that is truly brilliant. For our news, trending is for crimes for our well known and influential individuals; acts that are undesirable; acts of nonsense and acts of “why?”

But I don’t understand why we are trending a person who has not showed the “right” degree of talents, of skills, of success, of values, of responsibilities and deeds. And we keep it, continue on wide spreading like a virus all of these.
The fast-paced transfer of information in internet is the cause plus our attitude towards it. And we are fond of this. I would like to see in internet trending our great singers, not with undefined tunes; our sports bets, and in other fields of arts showing potentials in making a difference; our politicians served, helped and created history and not just those with one act; professionals recognized in outstanding craft in their own field; ordinary persons made a difference in our way of life and our way of thinking; and even the lowest who face life with great reflection and morale.
Viral videos, statements or photos accessible in the internet are not all admirable. Subjects are not all laudable. Most of them are AMALAYER Filipinos. The others; let say, history.
